Bull & Bear Score
What is the Bull & Bear Score
YUKKA Lab’s Bull & Bear score algorithm is based on machine Learning and assesses the potential future movements in a company's stock price and is updated daily. The score uses the following inputs:
1) Events: Events’ contribution to the scores depends on their impact, scope and relevance. Events with higher severity have a greater influence on the scores.
2) News Sentiment and Volume: The overall Sentiment, in combination with an increasing or decreasing News volume can have a high impact on the stock price of a company
3) Historic stock price: Historic stock prices are used for the machine to evaluate the combination of News trends and market trends.
Score Scale
The Bull & Bear score ranges from 0 to 10 with the 5 being the neutral score. A score of 0 means that the stock price is expected to drop, and 10 indicates a very bullish signal on the stock.
Score Distribution
The Bull & Bear score follows a normal distribution with most companies having a score around 5. This gives more importance to the tails, as a company with a Bull & Bear Score of 9 is quite rare.
Portfolio Score
The portfolio score is the average of all Bull & Bear Scores of the Companies in the portfolio. This can be helpful for comparing the expected performance of different portfolios.
