Entities

Entity - a specific person, location, organization, or concept in a text

Entities can be different “things”. Most commonly they will be legal persons (i.e., companies etc.) or physical persons but might also be every other “name” that we define to be one.  

Entities are stored in our Ontology, which consists of the “name of the entity” and all other information we could gather around it. (i.e., in case of a company this could be information such as the CEO, board members, subsidiaries and related companies, etc.) 

Only entities and potential named entities can be part of a portfolio.  

Please keep in mind that a specific company or person you are looking for might not yet be an entity in our system. If that is the case, please try out first, whether it exists as a potential named entity. If that is not the case, please get in touch with us.
