Events

Events - a cluster of related topics that can appear in the news

Very generally speaking, anything can be an event if we define it to be, but good examples might be: "Bankruptcy", "IPO", "C-level changes". 

If above mentioned topics are found in the news, we annotate them with the matching event and make them available for evaluation. 

Once opening an article in the News View, you will see the button, where one or possibly more events are detected. For example, the photo shows the following events:

In this case, seven different events have been presented, where one can appear more than once in the text. Here "Buy Rating" event is referenced three times in the article.  

Event analysis is the basis for the calculation of scores.
