Participant Participants are Entities in their relation to an event. We talk about a participant, when we think of an Entity or Potential named entity in their relation to an event. For example: Tesla has made an offer to purchase Volkswagen AG. Tesla is the first participant, Volkswagen AG is the second, and both are participating in the event "purchase".
